BUBBLE INSULATION

Polyshield Reflective bubble insulation is a vapor barrier (solid, non-breathable), 95% heat reflective insulation product manufactured with encapsulated air bubbles between one or two high reflective surfaces designed to keep out summer heat (heat gain) and hold in heat generated in the winter (heat loss), while reducing moisture condensation and blocking water vapor. The encapsulated air bubbles provide a thermal break to minimize conductive heat from moving through the material.

• Polyshield reflective bubble comes in multiple variations to fit different applications. Due to it serving as a vapor barrier and insulator, it's commonly used for metal buildings, pole barns, garages, garage doors, crawlspaces, basements, masonry walls, stud walls, duct wrap, hot water heaters and applications where other insulation is not present, and a thermal break is beneficial. • Polyshield bubble foil/white is the most inexpensive variation for those looking for the most economical solution. It has the same 95% reflectivity as all the other variations. The white surface can provide a smooth durable ceiling finish.   
• Polyshield single bubble foil/foil is an inexpensive variation for those looking for an economical solution as well. It has the same 95% reflectivity as all the other variations. The foil/foil variation is most commonly used inside finished walls.    
• Polyshield double bubble foil/white is thicker and stiffer than its single bubble variation. The stiffer material provides an easier install and can help reduce sagging. When comparing with single bubbles, it also provides better thermal break to reduce conductive heat (gain or loss) in buildings. Polyshield double bubble foil/white has the same 95% reflectivity as all the other variations. The foil/white version provides superior finished ceiling.   
• Polyshield double bubble foil/foil is thicker and stiffer than its single bubble variation. The stiffer material provides an easier install and can help reduce sagging. When comparing with single bubbles, it also provides better thermal break to reduce conductive heat (gain or loss) in buildings. Polyshield double bubble foil/foil material has the same 95% reflectivity as all the other variations. The foil/foil version can be used as a finished ceiling it usually used inside walls.   
• Polyshield Premium stiff foil/foil with quick-tabs bubble insulation is the stiffest and easiest to install in metal pole barns. The premium stiff product also has 2″ clear wings on each side to provide insulation tabs. For a quick install, just push the stiffer bubble material up from underneath in-between the trusses and the tabs will fold down to be easily stapled inside the trusses.
